BizTrak® is a leadership program for architects and engineers aspiring to project and executive management positions within their firm. Now more than ever, rising architects and engineers need to develop their business skills in addition to their technical skills to assume leadership roles in the future. BizTrak® provides the knowledge necessary to understand financial, project, and business risks inherent to A/E practice management.
Upon completion of the program and the dialogue it will open up between the participant and their manager, the attendee will better understand the value the firm is driving to with each project.
The program's facilitator is Deborah A Gill, CPA FSDA, a 40-year veteran of finance and operations in the A/E industry in both large and small firms as well as consulting.

What is SDA? Society for Design Administration
Why SDA?
- Enhancing practice administration through personal growth and continuing education.
- Encouraging career growth and excellence through a Certified Design Firm Administrator (CDFA) program.
- Contributing to the development of office systems and practices.
The administrators in your firm whether they are front end, marking or accounting are professionals just as the Architects, Engineers, etc and should be viewed as such. Firms make an investment in their “professional” staff so why would you not make an investment in your “technical” staff as well?
Just as AIA keeps your staff educated and up to date on the latest practices, SDA does the same for your administrative staff.
If you have an administrator in your firm why not encourage them and invest in them and have them join SDA.
