K-12 Outreach
Inspiring the Next Generation of Architects
The Coastal Virginia chapter of the American Institute of Architects is proud to highlight our K–12 Student Outreach Program—a growing initiative designed to inspire and support the next generation of architects. Whether students are just beginning to explore their interests or already dreaming of a career in architecture, our goal is to provide meaningful access to the world of design and the built environment.
Our outreach efforts have been active and evolving over the past two years, offering both online resources and in-person opportunities that introduce students to architecture and related professional fields. From educational materials and virtual activities to hands-on events and engaging presentations by local professionals, we’re working to make architecture more accessible and exciting for young minds. This new website page marks the next step in our commitment—an online hub that will continue to grow into a robust resource for students and their families who are curious about what it means to design the world around us.
